Can I buy any style in any colour?

Any style is available in any of the colours indicated beside it. If you want something special you'll need to talk to us. We may be able to do it but it won't be exchangeable.

What if they don't fit?

You can return footwear in an unused condition within 28 days and we will make any adjustments necessary. Once you are happy with your shoes we keep a record of the fitting so you can re-order in the future.

What if I change my mind about the style, size or colour?

Again return them to us unworn within 28 days and let us know what you want us to do - we'll change the colour, exchange the style or size, we want you to be delighted.

If you really don't think our shoes are for you we are happy to offer a full refund for the cost of the goods (less p&p charge).

Can I return a kit if I've started to sew it up?

Yes - provided all the parts are there, we'll either exchange or refund as you wish.

The sole doesn't seem as wide as my foot?

This is correct, your foot will always be wider than the shoe sole. The fitting takes account of this when cutting the leather uppers. To prove this, draw around your foot and then draw around the sole of a favourite pair of shoes (taking care to only draw around the sole not the uppers)

My feet are different sizes, can you help?

We certainly can, we can supply different width uppers for left & right feet or a completely odd sized pair eg left 5½-6 right 7½-8.

Can you supply single shoes?

Yes we can, simply choose your style, halve the price of a pair and add the £10 supplement.

Is the postage per pair?

No, the postage is per order delivered to one address, so get together with your friends and split the cost between you.

Do you do childrens sizes?

Sorry no, the smallest size we produce is Ladies 2½-3.

Are the shoes waterproof?

The shoes have a unique construction method to allow them to be sewn at home, but unfortunately this means they are not guaranteed waterproof. You can improve the water resistance by regular polishing with a good quality, wax shoe polish paying particular attention to the stitch holes, which creates a build up of wax around the thread. We can supply matching polish for all our regular leathers.
